I take pleasure to attend China Shipping 60 Years Anniversary Banquet at the invitation of 3rd GSS Committee. Firstly, please allow me to show my sincerest congratulations to the 27 China Shipping 60 Years Award Winners and my warmest welcome to all Chinese and overseas delegates on behalf of Dalian Municipal Government.

“Tracing Blue Ocean Footprint, Glimpsing Glorious Shipping Century” In the past China shipping 60 years, China shipping heroes have made unremitting effort to create legendary shipping stories and make sound milestones for China shipping industry.

Backed by the strong support and guidance from Chinese government, Dalian’s maritime industry has shown good development momentum. Especially in recent years, Dalian implemented the policy of “Building Dalian to be the important maritime center in Northeast of  Asia” , increased the maritime investment and enrich the port functions. These efforts enable great lift of the loading capacity of Dalian port to become the international modern port in Northern China.
